International Gas Engine Company had many years of experience in the gas engine business. The Ingeco was a four-wheeled variety but used only one drivewheel thus eliminating the need for a differential.

history

The International Gas Engine Co. (Ingeco), was a subsidiary branch of the International Steam Pump Co. and was founded around 1912. The “Ingeco” tractor was offered in 1915 as an answer to the crying need for a lightweight tractor. After Ingeco was acquired by Worthington Pump & Machinery Company in 1917, the manufacture of tractors only continued for a short time.
